DTF Color Chart

Achieving Consistent Color in Your DTF Projects:

Accurate color representation is crucial for successful DTF printing. This guide provides a simple, effective method for achieving consistent color in your projects:

  1. Download the CMYK Color Chart: Download the provided CMYK color chart PDF. This chart serves as a valuable visual reference for your DTF prints.
  2. Prepare the Chart in Your Design Software: Open the downloaded PDF in your preferred design program (e.g., CorelDRAW, Canva, Adobe Illustrator). Resave or export the file according to your usual settings.
  3. Order a DTF Print of the Chart: Upload the prepared PDF as a DTF design. You can order it as a standalone print (“DTF By Size”) or include it in a “DTF Gang Sheet.”
  4. Adjust Chart Dimensions (Optional): The default chart size is 10.5″ x 6.7″. Resize it within your design software if necessary.
  5. Submit Your Order: Proceed to finalize and submit your DTF print order.
  6. Create a Physical Color Sample: Upon receiving the printed color chart, heat apply it onto a scrap piece of fabric or a test garment.
  7. Utilize CMYK Values in Your Designs: Refer to the printed chart to identify the CMYK color values that best match your desired colors. Use these values in your design files for improved color accuracy.

Important Note:

While this color chart is a helpful tool, achieving a perfect color match is not always guaranteed due to variations in inks, materials, and printer technologies. However, this method will significantly improve your color accuracy and consistency in DTF printing.
